Topic: Disappearance

The guest describes a sudden job offer from his boss to become a purchasing agent, despite having no experience in the field. Shortly after this promotion, the mysterious man who had questioned him about his Kohen lineage disappeared and was reportedly investigated by the FBI in connection with a local murder. The guest reflects on whether the man was a real person or a telepathic manifestation that facilitated the ritual's success.

The discussion explores why governments avoid acknowledging UFOs or alien entities, suggesting that official recognition would mandate a public response the state is unprepared to provide. Richard Dolan compares this to the EPA's handling of lead pipes, where agencies prefer to ignore problems until they become unavoidable public issues. The segment also touches on the phenomenon of disappearing people and the possibility that the government lacks the power to intervene in non-human interactions.

The guest recounts a firsthand experience of shamanic magic involving the late Elder Kano, witnessed by researcher Graham Hancock. During a ceremony at a campfire, Kano reportedly walked back two steps and completely disappeared, only to reappear 40 meters away without making a sound on the gravel. Strong uses this anecdote to illustrate the "magic" and interdimensional abilities that original people claim to possess through their genetic heritage.

Robert Guffey recounts his initiation into the third degree of Freemasonry on July 12, 2003, a date that serves as a chronological anchor for the events in his book. Following the ceremony, Guffey attempted to contact his long-time friend Damien, referred to as Dion in the text. Damien failed to return the call for an entire week, which was highly uncharacteristic of their friendship and signaled the beginning of a strange series of events.

Trapper Joe LeBell discovered an empty Inuit village near Anjikuni Lake, Canada, where approximately 30 to 40 residents had vanished, leaving food cooking on stoves. Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigated but found no tracks or logical explanation for the mass disappearance. Local lore attributes the event to the Tornngait, a powerful sky deity in Inuit mythology capable of controlling malevolent spirits.

Agnew recounts a strange encounter with a New York-based production company that initially agreed to fund his expedition as a reality series. After the company suddenly went silent, a local contact visited their Park Avenue office and found it completely abandoned. The report described a scene where lights were on and laptops were left open on desks, but all personnel had vanished without explanation.

Phillips discusses the correlation between clusters of mysterious disappearances documented by David Paulides and the locations of known underground bases. He references his article for Paranoia Magazine regarding "batch consignments," suggesting that missing persons might be taken for testing or labor. He notes that even when people are found, they often have no memory of the intervening time.

Host Greg Carlwood introduces David Paulides and his Missing 411 research series, which documents thousands of unexplained disappearances in national parks and remote areas. The discussion contrasts these cases with typical conspiracy theories by highlighting the abundance of victims and evidence despite a lack of logical explanations. Paulides' background in law enforcement and his four-volume book series serve as the foundation for exploring these global phenomena.

Gian Quasar describes his 25-year journey researching the Bermuda Triangle, noting that the subject had largely been dismissed as "debunked" by the 1980s. By accessing National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) databases, Quasar discovered dozens of undocumented aircraft disappearances from the 1960s through the 1980s that previous authors had overlooked.

A comparison of Coast Guard districts reveals that while New England and the Bermuda Triangle have similar numbers of assistance calls, the Triangle has twenty times more total disappearances. Quasar disputes the common claim that the area is statistically normal, noting that most Triangle disappearances occur in fair weather.

Quasar describes non-paranormal dangers in the Bermuda Triangle, including voodoo sacrifices on ships and aggressive barracuda attacks on kayakers. He recounts the disappearance of Coast Guard Petty Officer Powell off Andros Island, whose boat was found anchored with a fishing line in clear water but with no sign of the pilot.

The Devil's Sea off the coast of Tokyo is described as a Japanese equivalent to the Bermuda Triangle with a history of disappearances dating back over 1,000 years. Ancient Japanese folklore attributed these losses to giant fiery sea dragons pulling ships to their deaths. While the dragons are considered mythological, the stories are viewed as a cultural attempt to explain a very real and persistent phenomenon of unexplained maritime disappearances.
