The Hermetic Age is a series of essays exploring how the 500-year Pluto-Neptune synodic cycle drives history through hidden power and shifting belief systems. Since 1398, these conjunctions have occurred in Gemini, signaling a shift from land-based power to a financial elite that monopolizes knowledge. Historical events like Henry Sinclair’s alleged secret voyage to America in 1398 serve as "seed moments" for these long-term cycles of suppressed information.

Astrological cycles suggest that 2026 will be a significant year for UFO disclosure, though likely involving a deceptive or manipulated narrative. The Pluto-Neptune cycle previously triggered the "Mystery Airship" wave of the 1890s and the alien invasion themes in H.G. Wells' literature. These cycles indicate when the UFO archetype will swirl into the collective consciousness, regardless of whether the events represent physical extraterrestrial contact or a "breakaway civilization" technology.

Pluto has entered Aquarius, where it will remain until 2043, a transit historically associated with major revolutions and deep social upheaval. The host speculates that the elite may attempt to suppress the positive energy of this period with dark, traumatic events, similar to the timing of 9/11 or the 2020 pandemic. Upcoming dates of interest include the July 4th holiday and the 79th anniversary of the Roswell incident on July 8th.

The conflict in Ukraine is linked to broader energy strategies, including the failure of African pipeline projects following coups in Niger. Victoria Nuland's role in neocon warmongering is highlighted alongside World Economic Forum-style plans for regional reorganization. The discussion warns against over-committing to specific conspiracy theories, noting that elite plans often fail due to their own "dumb beliefs."

The 2020 pandemic was signaled by a Saturn-Pluto conjunction followed by a major Jupiter-Saturn conjunction on the winter solstice. Jeff Harmon recalls predicting a major event prior to 9-11 due to a Saturn-Pluto opposition. He also explains the system of Prashna, or interrogation astrology, which treats the universe as an interactive consciousness.

The United States is currently undergoing a Pluto return, an astrological event that signifies massive destructive or transformative energy. Using the Sibley chart from July 4, 1776, Jeff Harmon predicts that the country will not exist in its current form by the end of 2024. He cites the looting of the treasury and border instability as physical manifestations of these celestial transits.

The episode concludes with a preview of the "Plus" subscriber segment, which covers Pluto's Cave, Missing 411 cases at Mount Shasta, and sex magic. Greg Carlwood also reads the upcoming meetup calendar, highlighting events in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Guatemala, Iowa, and a unique gathering hosted by Gordon White in Wellington, New Zealand. He encourages listeners to organize their own local events via the Higherside Meetups website.

The astrology of 2020 is analyzed through the lens of a rare Saturn-Pluto conjunction and a 240-year cycle of Jupiter and Saturn. Jeff Harmon claims this alignment, which occurred near the winter solstice of 2020, served as a gateway for global fascism and the COVID-19 pandemic response. He compares these "great conjunctions" to historical markers like the flood of Noah.

The United States is currently experiencing its first Pluto return, a cycle that occurs every 240 to 250 years and often coincides with the rearrangement of empires. Jeff Harmon links previous Pluto aspects to major events like the 9/11 attacks and the 2008 financial crisis. He argues that current supply chain and energy disruptions are part of a deliberate effort by banking elites to break down the constitutional order.

The astrological glyph of Pluto, representing the sun, moon, and earth, signifies destruction followed by rebirth. Jeff Harmon notes that the U.S. Pluto return hit significant points in February 2022 during the invasion of Ukraine and again in July 2022. He predicts a final critical hit in late December 2022, which will determine if the country undergoes a destructive phase or emerges like a phoenix.

Jeff Harmon discusses the historical precedent of Pluto returns in major civilizations, specifically noting the division of the Roman Empire into East and West during its first return. While data for ancient Greece or India is harder to verify, the Roman example serves as a primary reference for the 250-year cycle of imperial transformation.

The long-term transit of Pluto through Capricorn is credited with the corporatization of governance and the rise of oligarchies over the last 14 years. As Pluto prepares to move into Aquarius in 2024, Ross Ben warns that impersonal social controls could become even more powerful. He stresses that 2022 is a pivotal year for individuals to perform "shadow work" to prepare for the tightening of these societal screws.

John Michael Greer details his current projects, including a new version of the Sacred Geometry Oracle and a book on the astrological implications of Pluto's status. He also mentions his seven-volume fiction series, The Weird of Hali, and his work in mundane astrology via Patreon and SubscribeStar.

The 2020 stimulus bill and political corruption in Washington are framed as manifestations of the United States facing its natal Pluto return. Ross Ben discusses the Treaty of Paris chart and suggests the nation is undergoing a reckoning regarding omniversal law. He further predicts a period of DNA awakening for humanity, particularly among the youth, leading into 2022.

The hosts discuss how "magic" involves aligning actions with the Sky Clock to increase potency. They revisit the demotion of Pluto following the 9/11 attacks and the public mockery of Nancy Reagan's use of an astrologer as a tactic to distance the public from natural cycles. Crow777 asserts that history repeats in cycles and that events like 9/11 were encoded in media as far back as the 1930s.

Ross Benn explains his November 2019 prediction of a global resource reset triggered by planetary alignments in Capricorn. He identifies the January 12th Saturn-Pluto conjunction as the catalyst for current economic shifts, including oil price wars and industry collapses. Benn suggests that while Saturn brings hardship, the upcoming Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in April may offer new opportunities for those with internet-focused businesses.

The hosts discuss the convergence of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto as a meeting of space, time, and the "ultimate inevitable." Ross Benn encourages listeners to "feel with the end in mind" to manifest a positive reality by December 2020. He also touches on overcoming the fear of death, citing the transformative experiences of figures like Mike Tyson with substances like Bufo or DMT to shift away from fear frequencies.

Greg Carlwood previews the second hour of the interview for Plus members, which covers the 2018 New World Order forecast. Topics include the Saturn cycle of the Twin Towers, the Pluto cycle of the Declaration of Independence, and an esoteric analysis of QAnon. Carlwood also reflects on his role as a host and his commitment to exploring controversial ideas without self-censorship.

The years leading up to 2020 are described as an "apocalypse" in the sense of an uncovering or the end of a 200-year pattern. The upcoming conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn signifies the death and rebirth of old structures. In 2019, eclipses occurring on the "Dragon's Tail" (South Node) will further emphasize the processing of past "poison" and the necessity of letting go of outdated systems before the new cycle begins.

Jimmy Dore discusses recent findings of heat and ice movement on Pluto, suggesting the possibility of life. He argues that it is arrogant to believe humans are the only intelligent life in the universe and aligns himself with scientists who believe in the high probability of extraterrestrial civilizations.
