George Noory comes up in 6 chapters across 5 episodes of The Higherside Chats Free Show, from February 2012 to July 2015.
Alternative Media Networks and Jimmy Church Collaboration
The discussion shifts to the landscape of alternative media and the transition from traditional radio to internet broadcasting. Clyde Lewis describes his relationship with other hosts like Jimmy Church and the importance of sharing information rather than competing. He recalls a specific collaboration with Church regarding a rumored UFO base in Malibu.
Permaculture, Village Cooperatives, and Alcohol Production Efficiency
David Blume discusses the efficiency of alcohol fuel compared to wood, noting that it can be produced from local crops like prickly pear cactus or tapioca. Using alcohol for cooking saves villagers hours of labor spent foraging for wood and provides a safer, smoke-free environment. Blume demonstrates the cleanliness of the fuel on George Noory's Beyond Belief program, showing it leaves no carbon residue.
Critique of Alternative Media Figures and False Ratings
The conversation critiques prominent media figures like Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity, suggesting their influence is bolstered by manufactured ratings. These broadcasters are accused of controlling the airwaves with "bogus conservatism" that fails to offer genuine enlightenment. Alternative media is described as potentially more sinister than mainstream outlets because it can more easily mislead those seeking the truth.
The Higherside Chats Philosophy and Media Criticism
Greg Carlwood reflects on the philosophy of The Higherside Chats, contrasting his interview style with the "ego service" of Alex Jones and the "softball questions" of Coast to Coast AM. He defines the show as a conspiracy and paranormal outlet for the "non-religious right." The hosts critique mainstream cable news as pre-filtered nonsense and celebrate the rise of younger generations using podcasts to bypass old media paradigms.
Fortunate Son, George W. Bush and Publishing Scandals
The participants discuss the book Fortunate Son and the mysterious death of its author after investigating George W. Bush’s past. They recount how the original publisher allegedly burned copies of the book, drawing parallels to the dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451. The segment concludes with a mention of George Noory and the radio show Coast to Coast AM as a source for these narratives.
Hooters HR, Oceanside Lunch and Jordan Maxwell
In a lighter tangent, the hosts joke about the Hooters HR department and a recent "back to school" themed dress-up day at an Oceanside location. They transition back to serious topics by mentioning Jordan Maxwell’s recent appearance on George Noory’s show. Maxwell reportedly expressed deep regret for his decades of Illuminati research, citing personal and financial ruin.
