The segment reviews claims by CIA-linked scientists Hal Putoff and John C. Lilly regarding "solid state intelligence" and a "beast supercomputer" in Utah. It notes the recent mainstream shift where figures like Tucker Carlson and JD Vance have begun describing UFOs as demonic. This shift is viewed skeptically as a potential Hegelian dialectic designed to lead the public toward a false space-based savior.

The "Order of the Dolphin," a secret group of 1960s scientists including Carl Sagan and John Lilly, is detailed. Pasulka discovered references to this group while researching at the Vatican Observatory. The group's primary focus was communicating with non-human terrestrial intelligence, specifically dolphins, as a prerequisite for communicating with extraterrestrial life. NASA historian Stephen Dick is cited as a source for the group's historical activities.

The origins of flotation therapy are traced back to the 1950s research of Dr. John Lilly and Dr. Jay Shirley at the National Institute of Mental Health. Early experiments involved vertical tanks and elaborate breathing apparatuses used by NASA astronauts to test the limits of human consciousness. While Lilly later became a cult figure associated with psychedelics and dolphins, his early work laid the foundation for the modern horizontal Epsom salt float.

Dr. Miller details his research into dolphin clicks and whistles, identifying a code cipher with less redundancy than Hebrew. He argues that orcas and dolphins possess cerebral cortexes and brain cases significantly more evolved than humans. The conversation explores the hierarchy of mammals, including pilot whales, manatees, and elephants, based on their self-awareness and habitat design.

Victor Thorne introduces his book, Machine Elves, Cosmic Serpents, and Quantum Magic, which explores the intersection of psychedelics and quantum theory. He pays homage to "psychonaut" pioneers like Terence McKenna, Robert Anton Wilson, and Dr. John Lilly, emphasizing the importance of looking beyond standard political conspiracies.
