Jeffrey Epstein's rise began at the Dalton School under Donald Barr before he moved to Bear Stearns under Alan Greenberg. During this period, Epstein became a tax evasion expert for wealthy clients like Edgar Bronfman while the bank's legal counsel was future CIA Director Bill Casey. Following an SEC investigation, Epstein began orbiting Iran-Contra figures like Adnan Khashoggi, Roy Cohn, and Robert Keith Gray.

Nick Bryant dismisses the QAnon theory that Donald Trump is dismantling pedophile networks, pointing to Attorney General William Barr as evidence of a cover-up. He notes that Barr presided over the suppression of the Franklin scandal under the Bush administration and is now performing a similar role for Epstein.

Whitney Webb clarifies the controversy surrounding Donald Barr hiring Jeffrey Epstein at the Dalton School in 1974. Despite reports suggesting Barr had already left, updated evidence indicates hiring decisions were made while he was headmaster. The segment highlights Donald Barr's history with the OSS and his son William Barr's concurrent employment at the CIA, as well as Donald Barr's science fiction novel "Space Relations," which featured themes of human trafficking.

Jeffrey Epstein's early career is traced back to a teaching position at the Dalton School, where he was hired by Donald Barr. Donald Barr is the father of US Attorney General William Barr and was a former officer in the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). This connection suggests Epstein may have been talent-scouted or groomed by an "old boy network" with ties to intelligence agencies.

The host reflects on the "weird coincidence" of William Barr's father hiring Jeffrey Epstein at the Dalton School. This connection is framed as a potential early entry point for Epstein into the world of elite blackmail. While NXIVM took a backseat in this episode, its connective tissue to the broader Epstein network remains a point of high interest for future coverage.
