The Sola Busca deck's cosmology is described as "wholly malefic," focusing on specific planets and fixed stars used for attack sorcery, or maleficium. Adams argues that this tradition is superior to popular grimoires like the Key of Solomon, tracing its origins directly to the Byzantine imperial elite. This "learned sorcery" represents a sophisticated stream of magic that merged with Italian elite culture following the fall of Byzantium.

Jason Louv provides details for his website and his educational platform, Magic.me, which offers courses on chaos magic and astral projection. He offers a free seven-day email course on magical consciousness for listeners who text a specific keyword to his service. The interview concludes with a discussion on the symbolic significance of the number 42.

The discussion turns to Crowley's sex magic diaries, specifically the "Rex de Arte Regia," which Churton describes as records of scientific experiments rather than mere journals. Crowley believed sexual energy could be used to activate the subconscious and achieve spiritual exaltation more efficiently than traditional ceremonial magic. The goal was to use the suspension of time and space during orgasm as a "primal lift off" to operate on the astral plane.

The deck's cosmology is identified as malefic, focusing on specific stars and planets used for attack sorcery known as maleficium. These practices reflect the ruthless nature of Renaissance elite families, who utilized both diplomacy and poisonous sorcery to maintain power. The tradition depicted in the cards is considered superior to common grimoires like the Key of Solomon, tracing its lineage back to Orphism and the Neoplatonists.
