Ben Joseph Stewart and Greg Carlwood lament the transition of the internet from a "wild west" of information to a highly curated corporate environment. They discuss the "book burning" nature of modern search algorithms and the struggle to maintain digital freedom in the face of the Metaverse. While skeptical of Facebook's "Meta" rebrand, they express cautious hope for decentralized Web3 and crypto spaces to recapture early internet autonomy.

During an investor conference in Mexico City, Dr. Malone discussed the technical challenges of building a decentralized internet using Web3 and blockchain. He points out a significant ethical trap: if information storage is truly decentralized and uncontrollable, it could host illegal content like snuff films or terrorist training. This creates a paradox where some form of censorship or moderation becomes necessary, potentially leading back to centralized control.

He cites his recent collaboration with Charles Eisenstein as an example of presenting complex ideas through a more professional and artistic lens.

Ben Joseph Stewart outlines his vision for an "art revolution" fueled by decentralized platforms and Web3 technology. Stewart encourages listeners to discover their own unique gifts and share them with the world, emphasizing that creative expression is the ultimate solution to the current global crisis.
