He authored the book Unidentified: The UFO Phenomenon, which details his experiences with craft interfering with nuclear weapons systems.

Colin Andrews discusses government awareness of ETs, citing his work with Nick Pope at the UK Ministry of Defense. He highlights the testimony of Captain Robert Salas regarding the deactivation of Minuteman nuclear missiles by a hovering UFO, arguing that superpowers take the phenomenon extremely seriously as a matter of national security.

Stanton Friedman discusses the observed interest of UFOs in nuclear missile sites, citing researchers Robert Hastings and Robert Salas. He speculates that aliens may be preventing humanity from destroying Earth or that the planet serves as a "cosmic penal colony." Friedman also rebuts skeptics like Neil deGrasse Tyson and Seth Shostak, arguing that the government's ability to keep national security secrets is unrelated to public scandals or bureaucratic inefficiency.
