Topic: Birth Charts

The conversation covers the technical aspects of creating and choosing astrological talismans based on a person's birth chart. Matt Dragonstone advises selecting planets that are already "dignified" or strong in a user's chart to amplify positive effects, using Mercury in Gemini or Virgo as examples. The host shares a story of a Mercury ring causing a physical burning sensation, which Dragonstone interprets as a sign of the tool's potency and the host's specific ninth-house placement.

The discussion addresses why "bad people" or those disrespectful to the land often seem to achieve material success. Elliott points to astrology and the concept of the Fates, noting that a person's birth chart, such as having Saturn in the second house, can dictate financial struggles or specific career paths like farming. He argues that life outcomes are often ordained by forces beyond personal control, requiring the wisdom to accept what cannot be changed.

The discussion turns to Operation Sea Spray, a 1950 U.S. military experiment that sprayed Serratia marcescens bacteria over San Francisco. Carlwood links this history to modern contamination cases involving the Chiron Corporation and medical recalls. He further explores the esoteric naming of the Chiron Corporation, connecting it to the centaur of Greek mythology and the celestial body often used in astrological birth charts.

Understanding personal astrology requires focusing on house placements and the rulership of specific signs. For an individual with the Sun in Aries in the ninth house, the focus is on philosophy, learning, and travel. The segment explains how to track transiting planets through these houses to interpret how wider cultural cycles affect the individual.

The host discusses how his own birth chart reflects recent personal struggles with public life and isolation. He promotes the second hour of the podcast for Plus members, which covers topics like the art of number, Walter White, and Tarot divination. Information on purchasing gift subscriptions and new merchandise from the Higher Side store is also provided.

Michael Joseph discusses his process for providing astrological readings and birth chart breakdowns. He describes these sessions as often being therapeutic for clients who want to discuss conspiracy topics and personal issues in a non-judgmental environment. He views his role as a "limo driver," helping clients navigate their own lives through the lens of astrology.

Joseph elaborates on his future goals, including offering affordable professional astrology services and revisiting the "JFK Alchemy" research. He emphasizes the importance of his music as a "Venetian" bridge to his everyday life, allowing him to express esoteric themes in a more veiled and socially accessible way.

Host Greg Carlwood welcomes astrologer and author Austin Coppock back to the program to provide an astrological assessment of 2017. The conversation begins by revisiting topics from their previous meeting, specifically the intersection of astrology and financial market cycles. Coppock notes that while he does not specialize in economics, astrology has a long history of being used to identify patterns in market behavior.

Greg Carlwood recaps the episode's highlights, including the Israel birth chart and the Saturn connections discussed in the Plus segment. He reads a listener email about taking a personal day off and closes the show with the song "Say" by the Bakersfield band Lions Named Leo.
