The history of Saint Patrick is reframed as a Roman-led mission to exterminate the Druids in Ireland and Wales. LaCroix describes the Druids as the last public protectors of ancient "pagan" knowledge regarding consciousness and cosmic balance. Following their destruction, the remaining keepers of this knowledge went underground, forming the basis for secret societies like the Knights Templar. While these groups initially aimed to preserve pure moral codes, many eventually became corrupted by the pursuit of power and control.

While Napoleon was surrounded by Freemasons, Bosley speculates he was guided by a more secretive organization dedicated to retrieving lost knowledge of the past. This group is compared to the secret societies described in the works of Jules Verne. Bosley also suggests the Knights Templar may have been involved in Napoleon's life, potentially even influencing his family's lineage through matchmaking.
