Anonymous writer and self-described Gonzo Papal historian Popehead joins the program to discuss his research into papal history and deep topography. His work on the Popehead Substack explores the intersection of the Jesuits, Freemasons, and mass occult rituals. The discussion highlights his recent series on the connection between Xanadu and Shambhala, as well as his interests in alchemy, pole shifts, and hollow earth lore.

Adams emphasizes that in the 15th-century worldview, magical energies were viewed as having "agency" rather than being impersonal forces. This perspective changes how one interprets the deck's influence through history. Currently, Scarlet Imprint is producing a high-quality reproduction of the deck using imagery provided by the Brera Gallery, making the artifact accessible to modern researchers.

Greg Carlwood introduces guest Gary Lachman, a founding member of the band Blondie and a prolific author of over 20 books on esoteric subjects. Lachman's work includes biographies of figures like Aleister Crowley, Rudolf Steiner, and Madame Blavatsky, as well as explorations of the evolution of consciousness. The discussion focuses on his latest book, The Return of Holy Russia, which examines the spiritual and mystical history of Russia and its influence on the nation's identity.

The popularity of the Theosophical Society at the turn of the 20th century led to a widespread focus on Eastern thought-stopping meditation, causing Western discursive traditions to be overlooked. Modern practitioners are now "dumpster diving" through the history of Western civilization to recover these effective but ignored spiritual tools. This recovery effort aims to restore techniques that have more potential for personal transformation than simple relaxation.

Host Greg Carlwood introduces author Peter Levenda to discuss the hidden influences of occultism on historical events, ranging from ancient sites to the belief systems of the Nazis. Levenda is recognized for his extensive research in books such as Unholy Alliance and the Sinister Forces trilogy, which examines esotericism within American politics. The conversation establishes the premise that supernatural forces and spiritual entities exert a real, often ignored influence on world affairs.
