Tom Montauk describes his childhood in Germany, which was marked by dozens of entity encounters, abductions, and paranormal activity. He explains that these personal experiences provided a "base of knowns" that allowed him to bypass the skepticism phase common in academic UFO research. Growing up in a household with ghost and demon encounters led him to begin intensive study of metaphysics and physics at age 13 to understand his reality.

Al Borealis references Jacques Vallée’s book "Messengers of Deception" to argue that UFO close encounters are "staged" or arranged rather than natural occurrences. He explains Vallée’s statistical analysis, which suggests the timing and location of these events are a "schedule of reinforcement" designed to manipulate human perception.

The decision to use the Hebrew Bible as a primary data set over modern UFO reports or occult rituals is based on the Bible's enduring influence on Western civilization. Dr. Strassman emphasizes the importance of using original Hebrew texts to avoid later religious distortions. He points out that original biblical descriptions of angels—featuring multiple eyes, wings, and animal faces—closely mirror the "weird" spectrum of entities seen in DMT experiences.
