John Hamer presents the case that dinosaurs are a modern invention used to support the theory of evolution and the scarcity of "fossil fuels." He points to the "Bone Wars" of the 19th century, where rivals fabricated species from tiny fragments. The authors claim that most museum displays are plaster casts and that the anatomical structure of creatures like the T-Rex would be physically impossible.

Navy volunteer Jim Bowen claimed to have participated in a secret 1947 expedition that marched into a polar opening where the ice melted into green grass. Bowen reported seeing a creature resembling a Tyrannosaurus Rex before his group was split up and eventually returned to the United States under strict secrecy.
