Greg Carlwood reflects on the importance of Darren's work and shares his own experiences as a solo podcast host. He admits to a mistake in a previous show where he confused the CCP with CPS during a rant. Inspired by the need for community, he announces a real-world listener meetup at The Tipsy Crow in San Diego, marking a shift away from his usual "cloistered" approach to show production.

Greg Carlwood announced the first official Higherside Chats listener meetup in San Diego to foster community among the show's audience. The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 19th, at 5:00 PM at The Tipsy Crow. A listener named Joe facilitated the venue arrangements, and attendees can bypass lines and cover charges by mentioning the host's name. Carlwood emphasized the importance of finding like-minded individuals in an increasingly isolated social climate.
