A comprehensive breakdown of the Egress Industries saga details how Steve found "dream flyers" on Reddit and contacted a burner number, leading to cryptic voicemails and Crowley quotes. The entity demonstrated impossible knowledge of the hosts' personal lives and acquaintances, leading to speculation that it was either a sophisticated hoax by Bob Hicks or an Alternate Reality Game (ARG). Comparisons are drawn to Cicada 3301 and shady corporations seeking specific psychological profiles.

Reverend Robert Gay's 17th-century writings regarding the Kanga Giants of Somerset are examined. Local mythos suggests these giants built Stonehenge as a trophy of victory after defeating an invading tribe from the east. This narrative links the megalithic construction of Stonehenge directly to a specific tribe of giants known in the regional folklore of Wiltshire and Somerset.

During the production of the Pennyroyal podcast, concerns arose that extremist groups like QAnon might co-opt the research into local cave systems. The investigation touched upon the 1994 unsolved murders of Linda Gibson and Cody Garrett in Somerset. Local rumors frequently attribute such crimes to secretive cults involving the town's wealthy elite, creating a "Twin Peaks" atmosphere in the community.

Greg and Dana Newkirk of the Hellier series visited Somerset to investigate similar claims of child-killing cults and "green men." Their findings overlapped with Nathan Isaac's research, revealing that multiple women in the area were reporting nearly identical ritualistic trauma. This intersection caused the Pennyroyal production team to temporarily halt their work due to the potential danger of interfering in active criminal matters.
