Topic: Roger Ramey

Donald Schmitt discusses Dr. J. Allen Hynek's evolving perspective on crash saucers during his time with Project Blue Book. Hynek eventually viewed physical evidence as a way to challenge the Air Force's narrative. The discussion also touches on the infamous "switcheroo" where General Roger Ramey replaced the flying disk report with a weather balloon cover story in Fort Worth, Texas.

Stanton Friedman explains the transition from the initial "flying saucer" press release to the official cover-up orchestrated by General Roger Ramey in Fort Worth, Texas. Ramey claimed the wreckage was merely a radar reflector and weather balloon combination. Friedman notes that Colonel Blanchard, who authorized the original press release, was never punished and eventually became a four-star general, suggesting the release was part of a complex information management strategy.
