Topic: Rocketry

Greg Carlwood mentions reports of NASA personnel performing occult rituals and writing Latin phrases on rockets. Dana Kippel interprets this as a method of communicating with the plasma membrane of the ionosphere and magnetosphere. She suggests that the plasma field responds to the "vibe" and belief systems of the observers, creating an egregore through ritualistic focus.

Greg Carlwood discusses the esoteric and occult interests of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, a founding father of the Soviet space program. Tsiolkovsky believed in a universe filled with "ethereal" immortal beings who send messages to humans through heavenly signs. This "Russian Cosmism" suggests that the pioneers of rocketry, much like Jack Parsons in the United States, were often driven by a magical or spiritual understanding of science and technology.

The discussion critiques the current state of technological progress, contrasting 1950s optimistic visions with modern dystopian realities like digital surveillance and EMF radiation. Specific failures mentioned include the lack of major advancements in NASA rocketry and the negative health impacts of industrialized diets and GMO crops.

The 1946 Operation Crossroads nuclear tests are framed as a ritualistic "crossroads" deal occurring exactly one year before the Roswell event. The involvement of General Ramey and the proximity of rocket scientists like Jack Parsons to these locations are highlighted as evidence of a coordinated effort.

Greg Carlwood and Gary Lachman compare the occult foundations of the American and Russian space programs. They discuss James Bruce, a friend of Peter the Great with deep esoteric interests, and the influence of Freemasonry as a vehicle for modern ideas in early Russia. This parallels the well-known involvement of occultists like Jack Parsons in the American Jet Propulsion Laboratory, suggesting a recurring link between "out of this world" technology and mystical exploration.
