The universe is described as a vast, interconnected web where a vibration in one part affects the whole, a concept Dr. Little explored in his book People of the Web. He challenges the skeptical psychological concept of "fantasy proneness," arguing that belief in the paranormal is often a consequence of having a real experience rather than the cause of a hallucination. The intelligence behind these connections is viewed as a fundamental aspect of the universal singularity.

Richard Schongerdt confirmed that the psychological warfare aspects of his technology, including creating hallucinations and spatial distortions, were included in his patents. Schongerdt concluded that Damien was likely being used as a live test subject for the stolen technology to see how it performed in a real-world environment.

A personal account describes being selected at age four or five by three men in black suits and dark glasses for a private testing session at school in 1967.
