Topic: Pendulum

Greg Carlwood wraps up the episode by discussing the mixed reviews for his previous show with Lance Baker regarding the "Pleiadian Pendulum." He promotes upcoming Higher Side meetups in Washington, Illinois, New York, and New Zealand. The show ends with a final jab at "propaganda spreading Zionists" and a custom song about a disastrous first date involving conspiracy theories.

Host Greg Carlwood introduces guests Lance Baker and Matt Dragonstone to discuss the art of petitioning spirits and the subconscious. Lance Baker is a hypnotherapist and Reiki healer, while Matt Dragonstone is an astrological magician and jeweler. They introduce their collaborative project, a Pleiadian pendulum set designed for spiritual communication, which was inspired by the passing of their mutual friend and frequent guest, Gordon White.

Lance Baker explains the mechanics of pendulums as an amplification of the idiomotor response—unconscious muscle twitches. He discusses "The Swan" protocol developed by Bob Burns, which uses specific hand configurations to facilitate communication with the subconscious. Baker describes his experiments using these techniques to communicate with the land, ancestors, and spirits, noting that physical feedback often validates the experiences.

To verify the spiritual connection, the host asks the pendulum for the name of a specific tapas bar in London he visited with Gordon White. While the pendulum spelled out letters that led to "Pintxos" and "Pizarro," the host eventually identified the correct location as Gremio de Brixton, a subterranean crypt bar. Although the letters didn't match perfectly, the host notes the bar's proximity to "The Plow," a pub associated with Aleister Crowley.

The host asks about a rare liqueur he drank with Gordon White, and the pendulum spells out "R-O-L-N-O," which he identifies as Rosolio, a floral Italian liqueur. He also receives a message for his listeners: "S-O-M-M-O-N," which he links to the Hebrew root "Shimon" (Simon), meaning "to hear" or "to listen." The host concludes that while his "signal" as a medium is shaky, the pendulum successfully moved on its own to provide interesting hits.
