Brian Copenhaver observes a growing thirst among young artists for esoteric material despite historical resistance from traditional art academies. While universities have traditionally funneled students toward the commercial art market, Copenhaver notes a shift evidenced by events like the Occult Humanities Conference at NYU. He argues that while artists must survive financially, they should seek "cracks" in the system to explore deeper spiritual and alchemical meanings in their work.

Dr. Rob Brown, a diagnostic radiologist with experience at NYU and the Cleveland Clinic, discusses his transition from conventional allopathic medicine to holistic wellness. After suffering a knee injury before a Kilimanjaro climb, he found relief through magnetic discs rather than the surgery and Celebrex recommended by orthopedic surgeons. This experience led him to explore acupuncture, chiropractic care, and energy medicine, eventually authoring "Toxic Home Conscious Home."
