Host Greg Carlwood introduces returning guest Brian Copenhaver, an author and filmmaker dedicated to alchemy and the hermetic arts. The discussion frames modern culture as a landscape of cheap mass production and screen addiction, suggesting that high art has been degraded by authoritarian systems and AI. Copenhaver’s work, including "On Alchemy: Essential Practices & Making Art as Alchemy" and his "Hermetic and Alchemical Zines" series via Kepri Press, is presented as a guide for an artistic revival.

Brian Copenhaver details his upcoming projects at Kepri Press, including a new zine on memory architecture and initiation. He announces an ambitious audio project titled "Hymn to Hecate," a constructed soundscape inspired by the Chaldean Oracles and his previous work on the animation of statues. Listeners are encouraged to join the Kepri Press mailing list for updates on these limited-run alchemical publications and multimedia works.
