Topic: Hga

The "Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel" (HGA) is identified as the primary goal of the AA system, representing a conscious connection between the ego and the divine. Dr. Shoemaker explains that this attainment makes the True Will explicit and enhances one's ability to effect change. He discusses Aleister Crowley’s vision of a society where this spiritual evolution is the standard expectation of human development.

Using a radio receiver metaphor, Dr. Shoemaker explains how structured training helps a practitioner tune into the specific "station" of their Holy Guardian Angel. He contrasts the step-by-step approach of the AA with Chaos Magic, suggesting that while Chaos Magic may seem like a more direct path, it often lacks the foundational "alphabet" and safeguards necessary for long-term success and discernment of internal voices.
