A small human figurine was recovered from a depth of 300 feet during a well-boring operation in Nampa, Idaho, in the late 19th century. Critics often dismiss such finds as hoaxes or the result of artifacts falling through fissures, but Cremo argues that scientific evidence does not have an expiration date. He maintains that 19th-century discoveries should be evaluated on their merits rather than being dismissed simply due to their age.

The site of Çayönü features a "Skull Building" containing hundreds of human remains, suggesting ritual sacrifice. At Kilisik, a strange statue with a large head and skinny arms has been nicknamed the "alien statue," though it may represent a specific hairstyle or hood. Additionally, goddess figurines found at Goche Tepe bear a striking resemblance to those found in Malta, suggesting a cultural link or a shared focus on the star Sirius.
