Topic: Fairy Ring

Specific similarities between fairy lore and UFO encounters are identified, including the phenomenon of missing time and physical paralysis. Historical accounts from the 1940s often mirror fairy tales, featuring shimmering entities and bright lights that result in 24-hour gaps in memory. The discussion links traditional fairy rings to modern crop circles and notes that both phenomena involve entities prodding or performing surgery on humans.

In 2004, a couple named Daisy and Rick reportedly witnessed a futuristic city with metallic towers and hovercraft after their truck broke down on a deserted highway. Another account from the San Juan Islands describes a man stepping into a "fairy ring" of mushrooms and experiencing a temporal dislocation that allowed him to see a hidden government building. These "time slips" are characterized by a sudden change in environment that vanishes once the witness leaves the immediate area.
