Topic: Davy Jones

Greg Carlwood introduces guest Alan Green, a classically trained pianist and Shakespeare scholar who authored the 2016 book Decoding Shakespeare. The discussion establishes the premise that the true identity of William Shakespeare is a highly debated mystery involving occult codes and sacred geometry. Green’s background as the musical director for Davy Jones of The Monkees is also noted as a precursor to his research into Renaissance cryptography.

Green details his unexpected 12-year tenure as the musical director for Davy Jones of The Monkees. Despite an irrational childhood hatred for Jones, a chance rehearsal meeting in a theater led to an immediate bond based on shared Manchester humor. Green reflects on this relationship as a karmic experience that allowed him to witness the realities of fame vicariously without the personal burden of being a superstar.
