Nampa Image Figurine and the Validity of 19th-Century Discoveries
A small human figurine was recovered from a depth of 300 feet during a well-boring operation in Nampa, Idaho, in the late 19th century. Critics often dismiss such finds as hoaxes or the result of artifacts falling through fissures, but Cremo argues that scientific evidence does not have an expiration date. He maintains that 19th-century discoveries should be evaluated on their merits rather than being dismissed simply due to their age.
