Richard Dolan returns to the program to discuss his extensive research into Unidentified Submerged Objects (USOs). As a respected military historian and author of "UFOs for the 21st Century Mind," Dolan introduces his latest three-volume study, "A History of USOs." The first volume examines nearly 700 cases of mysterious objects in and around water from the early 18th century through 1969.

The chronology of Unidentified Submerged Objects begins with a 1717 case in the Caribbean and a spectacular 1825 encounter in the South Pacific. While a 1492 sighting by Christopher Columbus is discussed as a potential early example, it is excluded from the official chronology due to a lack of certainty. These early cases challenge modern explanations involving human technology.
