The 72nd anniversary of the Roswell incident in July serves as the backdrop for a discussion with researchers Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt. The guests have a combined 57 years of experience investigating the 1947 crash in the New Mexico desert. They recently attended the annual UFO festival in Roswell and released a new book titled UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson.

Chad Lewis addresses the difficulty of finding new information on high-profile cases like Roswell and Area 51, preferring to focus on smaller, lesser-known incidents. He highlights the 1948 Aztec crash site in New Mexico, a case championed by researcher Stanton Friedman involving an alleged saucer recovery. While the town once hosted a UFO festival to celebrate this history, Lewis notes that public interest in these specific historical sites often fades over time.
