Topic: Teraphim

The Moffitt family case is highlighted, involving a botched Santeria ritual that opened a "mortal portal" in their home. Nathaniel Gillis describes how an entity communicated through writing on mirrors, claiming a soul promised via an ancient sacrifice. He links this to "technological necromancy" and the use of teraphim—ancient implants carved with incantations—to allow spirits to operate through physical matter.

The Templar practice of consulting a severed head mirrors ancient Middle Eastern rituals involving the Teraphim, or embalmed prophetic heads. Historically, these artifacts were sometimes created from sacrificed infants and inscribed with magical symbols to enable communication with spirits. It is suggested that the Templars used Baphomet for divination to gain strategic and financial insights that fueled their rapid rise to power.
