Hopkinsville Goblins and the 1955 Kelly-Hoppy Encounter
In 1955, the Sutton family in Hopkinsville reported being besieged by small, metallic-sounding goblin creatures following a UFO sighting. This event is credited with originating the term "little green men" and was officially investigated by CIA-contracted magician John Mulholland. The creatures are theorized to have retreated into the Mammoth Cave system, where similar sightings persist.
