Operation Gladio and European False Flag Terrorism
Operation Gladio involved "stay-behind" armies organized by NATO, the CIA, and MI6 across Europe, originally intended to resist a Soviet invasion. These units, often comprised of former Nazis and right-wing extremists, were eventually used to carry out domestic terrorist attacks blamed on left-wing groups to influence elections. This clandestine network operated for nearly fifty years before being exposed in the 1990s.
