Chris Knowles details the eerie synchronicities that occurred during the writing of his novel, including a plot point about a Soundgarden-like singer who goes missing, written before the death of Chris Cornell in 2017. He also notes similarities between his early drafts and the first season of Stranger Things, particularly regarding the use of body doubles. Knowles mentions that industry professionals in Los Angeles frequently read his blog, potentially influencing mainstream media.

The deaths of musicians Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington are linked through their shared mission to expose child abuse and their identical methods of death. The discussion also includes Robin Williams, noting he was found hanging from a door knob with a necktie in 2014. These cases are presented as part of a long-term pattern of "door knob suicides" among influential figures in the entertainment industry.
