Sony Pictures Hack, North Korea and The Interview Production
Isaac Weishaupt reports on evidence suggesting the North Korean government lacked the infrastructure to execute the 2014 Sony Pictures hack. Internal communications indicate Sony consulted with the U.S. State Department and the Rand Corporation before changing the film's antagonist from a generic nation to North Korea. The film's marketing and poster imagery are also noted for containing occult symbolism resembling the deity Baphomet.
