Topic: Solar Lion

The shift from polar to solar symbolism is framed as a potential "occult war" where the Church demonized polar symbols like the bear in favor of the solar lion. Clockwise rotation, associated with the number 12 and solar time, is described as expansive and externalizing, leading people away from their center. Conversely, counter-clockwise polar rotation is viewed as a path toward unification and the reconciliation of opposites.

The Lion King is analyzed as a retelling of the Egyptian Osirian cycle and Shakespeare's Hamlet. Mufasa represents Osiris, Scar represents Set (or Typhon), and Simba represents the solar heir, Horus. The film utilizes solar allegory, where the health of the Pride Lands is tied to the presence of the "sun" (the lion king), while the "north" represents the darkness where the sun cannot go.
