THC 75: Robert Sullivan | The Secrets of Masonic Ritual, Philosophy, & Symbolism
Solar Deities and the Collective Unconscious
The persistence of Egyptian mystery school symbols in modern times is discussed through the lens of Carl Jung’s collective unconscious. Sullivan notes that stories of dying and resurrected sun gods appear across various cultures, including Druidism and the mysteries of Mithras. These symbols, including the 12 houses of the zodiac, act as archetypes embedded in human nature that repeat throughout history.
