Topic: Smart 911

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is pushing for the implementation of smart cities, a project heavily involving Israeli tech firms. One such company, Carbyne911, was funded by Ehud Barak, Jeffrey Epstein, and Peter Thiel. The company’s technology allows for extensive data harvesting from smartphones during emergency calls and aims to implement "pre-crime" functionality through automated device alerts.

The Smart 911 system is identified as a tool tested in Newtown to collect personal profiles and cell phone data for emergency tracking. Smallstorm claims that residents received robocalls and texts during the Sandy Hook event as part of an experiment in public notification. She suggests that different levels of alerts were sent based on a "need-to-know" hierarchy within the community.
