Donald Jeffries | Survival Of The Richest, Huey Long, & Solution Suppression
Huey Long, Share Our Wealth, and the Shorter Work Week
Donald Jeffries advocates for the ideas of Huey Long, the former Governor of Louisiana who proposed the "Share Our Wealth" plan. Long pushed for a shorter work week and massive infrastructure projects to combat the Great Depression. Jeffries argues that with modern technological productivity, society should have a ten-hour work week, allowing everyone to enjoy the "blessings of prosperity" rather than working until death as his grandfather did.
