Wilhelm Reich, Orgone Energy, and the Pentagon Levitation
The theories of Wilhelm Reich regarding the "function of the orgasm" and the consequences of sexual repression are explored. Reich’s work on orgone energy is linked to the idea of using focused passion to alter reality, even if only slightly. A historical anecdote is shared regarding the Vietnam-era attempt by activists to levitate the Pentagon, illustrating the intersection of paranormal interest and political movements.
