THC 121: Adam Gorightly | Discordianism, Operation Mindfuck, & Famous Tricksters
Garrison Investigation, Bavarian Illuminati Hoax
During the Jim Garrison investigation, Kerry Thornley and Robert Anton Wilson leaned into the absurdity of the situation by claiming membership in the Bavarian Illuminati. They sent letters to Garrison using pseudonyms like Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst to "illuminate" the investigators. The host also mentions a past conflict with Dark Matter Radio regarding the use of "foul language" during similar discussions.
