THC 44: Douglas Hawes | The Jeff Turner Diaries, Tuesday Weld’s Illuminati, & Buried Mysteries
Neil Young and the After the Gold Rush Connection
Douglas Hawes relays Jeff Turner's claim that Neil Young's song "After the Gold Rush" is a tribute to the Kronos time travel story. The screenplay for the song was written by actor Dean Stockwell, who Hawes suggests may have had access to underground black budget facilities. The lyrics regarding "Mother Nature on the run" and "silver spaceships" are analyzed as potential cryptic references.
