John Dee partnered with Edward Kelly, a controversial scryer, to conduct seven years of daily occult rituals at Dee's home in Mortlake. Kelly would enter trance states while looking into a crystal glass, dictating messages and a complex language to Dee. This collaboration resulted in the Enochian language, which the entities claimed was the original tongue spoken by humans in the Garden of Eden.
