Michael of the Morning Korean War Miracle
During the Korean War, a young Marine reported being joined by a mysterious, 6-foot-5 soldier named Michael during a snowstorm patrol. The apparition allegedly recited a specific prayer the Marine's mother had taught him and protected the unit from an enemy ambush. After the Marine lost consciousness, his sergeant claimed the mysterious soldier had neutralized the enemy with a sword, though no such person was officially part of the unit.
