Arms Trafficking, Vincent Bugliosi and Melvin Belli
The trial of Paul Prevailer featured a remarkable cast of characters, including prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi and defense attorney Melvin Belli. Prevailer was allegedly running an arms trafficking operation out of his bar, "The Grand Duke," specializing in untraceable firearms for contract killings. The case also involved Detective John St. John, the primary investigator of the Black Dahlia murder and a source for David Lynch’s "Lost Highway."
