Nesta Webster, Secret Societies and the French Connection
Author Nesta Webster’s 1924 work on secret societies explored the deep connections between French Masonry and subversive political movements. Her research suggests that the French Revolution was seeded by occult interests, a theme later echoed in the film "The French Connection." This historical analysis links the Corsican mob and international trafficking to older esoteric networks operating between Europe and America.
