Personal Experience Versus Theory in Western Tantra and Kundalini
The Western magical tradition is contrasted with Eastern practices like Kundalini yoga, with a focus on the importance of personal practitioner accounts over abstract theory. Reference is made to Lewis Culling and Gopi Krishna to illustrate how spontaneous or uncontrolled energetic experiences can be overwhelming. The host and guest emphasize that their approach prioritizes practical, personal experience to demystify the symbolism often found in obscure occult texts.
