Burnside Manta Ray Sighting and Underwater Ghost Towns
In 2005, a couple in Burnside reported a translucent, undulating manta ray-like creature flying in the night sky, a sighting mirrored by reports at James Gilliland's ECETI ranch. Burnside itself is a town partially submerged by the creation of Lake Cumberland, leading to local legends of underwater streetlights and ghost sightings. The area is also home to "Alien Grave Mountain," the site of a purported 1963 UFO crash.
