Filmmaker Alan Stivelman joins the program to discuss his documentary, Witness of Another World, which focuses on the 1978 encounter of Juan Perez. The film features renowned researcher Jacques Vallée returning to Argentina to revisit Perez forty years after the initial event. Stivelman explains his goal of examining the long-term psychological and emotional impact of the close encounter on the witness.

Alan Stivelman describes the synchronistic events that led him to Juan Perez, beginning with an exercise in automatic writing for a fiction script. While promoting a previous film in Rosario, Argentina, Stivelman met Dr. Nestor Berlanda, a psychiatrist who had investigated Perez's case decades earlier. After seeing footage of an 18-year-old Perez breaking down at a UFO congress, Stivelman felt a deep connection and spent years researching the human aspect of the phenomenon.

In September 1978, 12-year-old Juan Perez encountered a circular craft while searching for horses on his father's farm. Perez described entering the craft and seeing two distinct entities: a three-meter-tall being using touch screens and a smaller being with scissor-like hands and wheels for feet. The witness noted a transparent wall that functioned like an electromagnetic field, preventing him from moving freely within the vessel.
