Mark Morano explains that in the 1970s, many scientists—including some who later became warming alarmists—were concerned about man-made global cooling caused by aerosols. He argues that Exxon did not have "secret knowledge" of warming but was observing the same speculative theories as the rest of the scientific community. Morano characterizes current lawsuits against oil companies for storm damages as legally baseless attempts to extract money.
