Modern Book Burning and Information Suppression
The guests discuss "modern-day book burning," where pertinent information is removed from newer editions of reference works. They cite Jason Beshears' observation that the Encyclopedia Britannica has shrunk from 60 volumes to 35. They recommend Peter Kingsley's book "Reality" as a tool for readers to "drop the scales" from their eyes and perceive the world in a "new old way."
