Topic: James B Harris

The discussion shifts to Kubrick's early production partner, James B. Harris, who had a background in the Army Signal Corps and a family business distributing Soviet films. Harris is identified as a key link to the darker side of Hollywood, including associations with self-proclaimed "Hollywood witch" Samson De Brier. These connections placed Kubrick on the periphery of an occult-influenced social scene involving figures like James Dean and Jack Nicholson.

The production of "Lolita" is examined through the relationship between 39-year-old producer James B. Harris and 15-year-old actress Sue Lyon. Lyon’s friend Michelle Phillips later claimed this relationship ruined Lyon's life. The social circle also included Tamar Hodel, daughter of Black Dahlia suspect George Hodel, linking the Kubrick production milieu to some of Los Angeles' most notorious criminal and sexual abuse allegations.
